Same team, same expertise, now aligned with the pace of the energy transition
On 12 May 2026, Proton Ventures Holding B.V. (“Proton Ventures”) acquired the key assets and activities of the former Proton Ventures B.V., in a transaction approved by the District Court of Rotterdam. It marks the start of a new chapter for a company that has stood for clean ammonia expertise for over 25 years, and we are glad to share what this means for you.
Most importantly, the people you know have stayed. The vast majority of our professionals have joined the new organisation, bringing the same know-how, creativity and team spirit that you have come to value. The tradename Proton Ventures continues, and so does our commitment to the quality and service you are used to, in green ammonia storage, production and applications, as well as our DeNOx, hydrochloric acid and liquid fertiliser solutions.
This restart is also the moment to sharpen our focus. Our holding company now operates under the name Pro-GramNH3, reflecting our programme for Green ammonia production, storage and handling. This name underlines our alignment with the ambition and pace of the energy transition. Our three affiliates, Proton Ventures Engineering B.V., Nfuel Technologies B.V. and Transhydrogen Alliance B.V., continue unchanged, each active in their own field of operation.
To match this new phase, we have also moved. Our new office is centrally located in Rotterdam, close to Central Station and easily accessible by public transport:
